History of the Department

2020

The Department returns to its original name, the Department of Power Engineering, and the names of the sections are changed: - Section of Conversion, Transmission and Distribution of Electrical Energy - Section of Environmental Technologies - Section of Measurement and Analysis of Energy Equipment.

2002

Changing the name of the Department to the Department of Electric Power Engineering and Environmental Engineering. The Department is divided into 3 sections: - Section of Electricity Production and Distribution - Section of Technical Ecology - Section of Electrical Devices and High Voltage Technology

1994

The establishment of the Section of Technical Ecology

1991

The Department reverts back to the name Department of Electric Power Engineering, part of the Section of Electromagnetic Field is transferred to the Department of Theoretical Electrical Engineering.

1985

Change of section names to: - Section of Electrical Power Engineering - Section of Electric Heat and ElectromagneticFfield

1977

Change in the organizational structure of the Department into 2 sections: - Section of Power Engineering - Section of Electromagnetic Field

1975

A part of the Department of Theoretical Electrical Engineering dealing with electromagnetic field theory is attached. The part of the Department dealing with drives and the use of electronics is separated and the Department of Electronics and the Use of Electric Energy is established.

1970

Change of the name of the Department to the Department of Production and Conversion of Electrical Energy as a result of joining parts of other departments. The Department is divided into 3 sections: - Section of Electricity Production, Transmission and Distribution - Section of Electronics and Electric Drives - Section of Electric Heat and Light

The establishment of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and a separate Department of Electric Power Engineering
